Submissions

​Submissions for the Albany Government Law Review

The Albany Government Law Review publishes all-symposia based editions. Therefore, we generally only accept solicited articles. However, we will consider articles that are directly submitted to the Albany Government Law Review that would fit within the chosen symposia topic. For a listing of upcoming symposia topics, please see Upcoming Issues.

Solicited and unsolicited authors should include their article as an attachment to an e-mail to:

Information regarding submission​s:

The Albany Government Law Review is currently soliciting articles for its upcoming issue, Native American Law in the Modern Era.

The Albany Government Law Review prefers to receive submissions in Microsoft Word format. Additionally, submissions should be between 20-40 pages; 1 in. margins on all sides; double-spaced; and have between 100-200 footnotes.​​​​​


Submissions for the Albany Government Law Review Online

The Albany Government Law Review Online publishes articles written by students at Albany Law School on a rolling basis.  Therefore, we accept both solicited and unsolicited articles.  There is no topic requirement, articles need only be legally relevant, and loosely connected to law and government.

Solicited and unsolicited authors should include their article as an attachment to an e-mail to:

Information regarding submissions:

The Albany Government Law Review Online prefers to receive submissions in Microsoft Word Format.  Additionally, submissions preferably should be 20-25 pages (minimum of 15 pages); 1 in. margins on all sides; double-spaced; and have footnotes in Bluebook Citation format.
