Submissions

​Submissions for the Albany Government Law Review

The Albany Government Law Review encourages unsolicited authors to submit articles, notes, and comments that are legally relevant, and are loosely connected to law and government, for publication in our Fall and Spring Volumes. 

Submissions can be emailed to Julie Bentzen, Managing Editor for Submissions, at jbentzen@albanylaw.edu, or can be submitted via Google Forms.

Additional Submission Requirements:

  • 20-30 double-spaced pages
  • 100-200 footnoted citations in Bluebook format
  • Word document
  • Name removed from all pages of the document


Submissions for the Albany Government Law Review Online

The Albany Government Law Review Online publishes student-written articles on a rolling basis.  Submissions that are legally relevant, and loosely connected to law and government will be considered for publication.

Submissions can be emailed to Carrie Costanzo, Managing Editor for the Albany Government Law Review Online, at ​ccostanzo@albanylaw.edu.

Additional Submission Requirements:

  • 15-25 double-spaced pages 
  • Footnotes in Bluebook format
  • Word document
  • 1-inch margins on all sides
